Lady Distance Classic:
Gammy, Mama, and Aunt Gretch all competed in a local 10k walk over the weekend. It was a beautiful morning. Once they were finished, I got to run in my very first race. Getting in some good practice for the future.

About 1 mile of the 6.2 to go....I did not like that I kept seeing Mama and she just ignored me and kept right on walking.
Mama and Gretch just after they finished their race. 1hr 32min for 6.2miles...not too bad but only good enough for each of them to get 4th place in their age groups. They have loftier goals for next year!! ;)
Diego came to the after race party and I got my picture with him. He was so cool!
Jimmy Neutron was there too...I didn't really know him, but he had some funny hair!

Waiting patiently while the older kids finish...I really just wanted to get down and run with them.
Off we go! I wasn't too sure about all of this. It was rather crazy so I made Mama run with me.
